There is no perfect e-shop - that is the conclusion after reading the studies about customers behaviur during purchasing on-line. All the responders faced problems with e-shoping.

Polish e-commerce increases with new shops and products - the number of customers is rising as well. However, there is no ideal solutions for Internet users.

It shows the survey made by Interactive Institute Marketing Research. This study is not just about customer behavior, but also says what people do, if the purchase is with difficulties. It turned out that if people have problems during buying, over half of customers use other services and one third in general cancels shopping.

Check following information from survey (below) and decide what you can improve in your shop and how make more clients to buy.

Common problems

  • 50% no pictures or bad photos of the product,
  • 39% no credit card payments,
  • 38% no details about the product,
  • 23% no searcher,
  • 22% no data security.

Reactions

  • 55% is using other similar e-shop,
  • 35% is reading Help section,
  • 34% is not buying at all.

IIMR asked 1000 Internet users in August this year. Responders could have matched more that one answer for a question.
