Encryption will work correctly when installing Intermediates SSL and certificate valid for the site/domain name.

I. Installing domain/site certificate

  1. Go to Server Management.
  2. Click the green icon next to SSL enabled virtual site - wrench for RaQ4, pencil for XTR.
  3. Click SSL Settings on the left side.
  4. Copy the entire contents of the site certificate that you received, including lines: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE-----
  5. Paste it to Certificate window.
  6. Select Use manually atered certificate from the pull-down menu at the bottom.
  7. Click Save Changes.

II. Install the Intermediate Certificate
This certificates are necessary for browsers to trust your site.

In the httpd.conf file, you will need to complete the following:

  1. copy Intermediate SSL to the httpd.cong and name it ca.txt.
  2. SSLCertificateChainFile /etc/httpd/conf/ca.txt - add it to httpd.conf (/etc/httpd/conf is the directory to where you have copied the Intermediate file).

Note:
If you are using a different location and file names you will need to change the path and filename.
